Most dog care asks you to choose. A daycare for the workweek, somewhere else for the trip, and a dog who has to start over with strangers every time.

We’d rather your dog had one place. At DogTag, daycare and boarding happen in the same yards, with the same daily routine, so a boarding stay feels like an ordinary day that ends in a sleepover. For families in Broomfield, that place is 12 to 15 minutes west along US-36, at 7440 Marshall Road in Superior.

The short version
·12–15 minutes from Broomfield, just off US-36. Drop-off from 7:30am, or 7am with early drop-off.
·Daycare and boarding under one roof, in the same yards and the same daily routine.
·A converted home on two acres. Four outdoor yards. Hand-built wooden kennels at night.
·No dog’s first night is their first visit: everyone begins with a one-day assessment.

Part Of Your Week

The drive, the hours, and how it fits a Broomfield morning

Daycare only works if it fits the morning. From most of Broomfield we’re a 12 to 15 minute drive west on US-36 — and if your commute already heads toward Boulder, we’re on the way rather than a detour.

One Place For Weekdays
And Weekends Away

Why familiar matters more than fancy

Before he owned DogTag, Chris Nunes was a client here. In the uncertain months after the Marshall Fire, his Rhodesian Ridgeback, Oso, boarded with us — and that stay is the reason Chris later bought the business.

That’s the whole idea behind keeping daycare and boarding together. A dog who spends their weekdays with us arrives for a boarding stay already knowing the yards and the routine. By day, boarding guests join our daycare groups outside. At night they sleep in their own hand-built wooden kennel, in a house they already know their way around.

“Known by name, by habit, by the small things. That’s what makes a first night easy.”

Small On Purpose

What Broomfield families notice first

DogTag is a house on two acres of Colorado land, with four play yards named for how they feel: Beach, City and the two Barnyards. Each group is chosen around the dogs in it — their size, their energy, how they like to play. Staying small is a choice, because it’s the only way to know every dog by name.

What that looks like
A day at DogTag, in short
• Outside most of the day. Play in a group that suits them, in yards built for it.
• Real rest, not just a break. Quiet downtime so dogs come home settled rather than wired.
• A handler who knows them. The quirks, the friends, the toy they won’t share.
